You choose in the showroom, we tell you beforehand which construction suits subfloor, underfloor heating and use – and install it. Solid or engineered, glued or floating: we decide that together on a sample, not from a catalogue.

Parquet range at Hinterseer →Gradings – what "Natur", "Rustikal" or "Astig" means
The same oak comes in several gradings – not a quality level but the look: Select / Premium = calm, even appearance with almost no knots. Natur / Classic = lively grain, small sound knots, the all-rounder. Rustikal / Markant / Astig = large knots, colour play, filled cracks – character for old buildings and country style. The calmer the grading, the higher the price; durability is the same for all.

PARAT Dos oak Classic/Natur, pre-oiled
Two-layer parquet as single strip, 490 × 70 × 11 mm, fully glued. Low build-up height – ideal on underfloor heating and in old buildings where doors and thresholds leave no room. Can be laid as ship-deck, herringbone or basket weave. Our first choice for the classic Berlin apartment.

Solid 8 mm lamellas on netting, 16-piece squares 640 × 320 mm, delivered raw. Glued, sanded and sealed or oiled by us with Pallmann or PARAT – you choose the finish only once the floor is down. Very robust, can be sanded many times, low material cost, but a job for the professional.

Two-layer plank 1900 × 190 mm, brushed and factory-oiled, Rustikal grading with knots and colour play. Wide plank, calm appearance, walkable right after installation – for large rooms, new builds with underfloor heating and everyone who wants the floor "finished".

Every floor needs the right skirting: same wood, same finish – or deliberately white against a coloured wall. We fit them in the same go as the floor, with cable ducts where wiring should disappear.

Natural solid wood – oak, beech, ash, walnut, maple – raw, oiled or lacquered. Matches solid and engineered parquet, can be re-sanded like the floor itself.

We mitre-cut skirting, set inside and outside corners cleanly and fix it screwed, glued or clipped depending on the wall. Skirting is part of our floor installation, not an extra.

Which skirting for what: solid wood in the species of the floor for parquet when floor and skirting should be one. Old Berlin profile for period buildings with stucco and high ceilings – tall, profiled, as it used to be. White foiled or lacquered against coloured walls, white doors and in new builds; MDF core, can be over-painted. For vinyl and design flooring: flat solid-core skirting with a soft lip.
Skirting 609 oak lacquered
Solid oak, 20 × 60 mm, rounded, 2.44 m. The standard skirting for any oak parquet – same species, same look, can be re-sanded. Also available oiled or raw, then we match it to the floor finish.

Solid oak, 22 × 58 mm, lacquered, 2.44 m – the classic profiled Berlin period skirting. For stucco, double doors and plank floors; painted white on request as in the original.

MDF carrier, 19 × 80 mm, white foiled RAL 9016, can be over-painted, 2.40 m. The period classic in white – tall enough for cables behind it, clean against coloured walls. Also 60, 100 and 120 mm high.

As a partner company we take you to the Hinterseer showrooms in Berlin and Potsdam. Parquet, planks and skirting lie there in full size – you see grading, colour and finish in real light, take samples home and lay them on your floor. We tell you beforehand what to watch for in subfloor, underfloor heating and build-up height, and afterwards handle ordering, delivery and installation.
PARAT parquet lacquers – the finishes we work with
Alongside the Pallmann finishes we apply the water-based PARAT lacquers from Hinterseer: low-odour, low-solvent, with an elastic surface that does not turn brittle. Three products cover residential use for us – which one suits your floor we show you on a sample area at the on-site visit.
PARAT Lack 1.1 satin-matt
One-component PU parquet lacquer for residential use, ready to use from the container. Satin-matt – the classic: lets the wood look natural, hides small signs of use and stays easy to care for. Our recommendation for living rooms and bedrooms.

One-component PU parquet lacquer for residential use, gloss level 20 (matt). Looks like untreated wood but protects like a finish – for everyone who wants the floor as “raw” as possible. Same base as Lack 1.1, just more matt.

One-component parquet lacquer, fast drying, for residential and commercial use – the harder grade for hallways, kitchens, offices and families with children. Gloss level 40 satin gives the floor depth and glow without mirroring.
PARAT LK 2.1 at Hinterseer →Application per manufacturer: at least two coats, intermediate sanding after 12–24 hours drying at 20 °C, carefully walkable after 3–4 hours, fully loadable after 3–5 days. Product data per hinterseer.com, as of 09/2026.
PARAT hardwax oil – Hinterseer's oiled alternative
If you want the oiled look instead of lacquer, PARAT offers a hardwax oil. The difference to Pallmann Magic Oil, explained honestly: Magic Oil is a two-component oil that soaks into the wood and leaves the pores open. A hardwax oil additionally lays a thin, wax-containing protective layer on top – less sensitive to moisture and signs of use, high wear resistance, but less of that “raw” wood feel. Both can be touched up locally. Which suits you is best decided on a sample area.

Clear, for parquet and plank floors, high wear resistance. Matt lets the wood look most natural – for everyone who wants the floor to look as untreated as possible. 2.5-litre container.

Clear, for parquet and plank floors, high wear resistance. Satin-matt gives the grain a little more depth and sheen while staying far from a lacquer look. 2.5-litre container.

The matching routine care for hardwax-oil floors – re-fatting, mop slightly damp, 125 ml in 5 litres. Listed under care products.
PARAT RP 1.0 at Hinterseer →Product data per hinterseer.com, as of 09/2026. Applied only on freshly sanded, dust-free wood; excess oil is removed after the reaction time – oil-soaked cloths can self-ignite and are disposed of properly by us.

PARAT is the own brand of Parkett Hinterseer – the second care system we carry, clearly separated from Pallmann. One system per floor, never mixed.
PARAT RP 3.0 Intensivreiniger
Mopping-water additive for routine cleaning of lacquered and oiled floors; undiluted as deep cleaner against grease, dirt and old care residues. 1 litre.

Polish for sealed floors, gloss level 10–40, forms a dirt-repellent care film and extends the life of the lacquer. 1 or 5 litres.
